Polished New Zealand greenstone oval cufflinks set in paladium plated bronze. They are about 20mm wide by 10mm high. Genuine New Zealand Pounamu (Greenstone), sourced and hand carved in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Pounamu is of great cultural signicance for Maori and is believed to enhance mana (prestige) of its possesor. When received as a gift Pounamu is said to gain value as a special treasure.
